It was really fun today - I had a great time doing fun stuff at Mount Vernon. I learned that George Washington was going to be buried under a tower, but they decided to bury him at Mount Vernon instead. I saw some big horses, and an owl. George Washington was our first president.
He was a great president for the United States of America. I learned today that his horses were really happy. There was a small house outside of the big house called a “necessary.” It was for going to the bathroom. He had an enormous house that was really big and I saw a big well and it had wood covering the water so that people wouldn’t fall in.
