We made it to Paris without any problems. Easy drive to LAX, easy flight, everything worked out perfectly. The kids slept practically all night on the plane. We picked up our car and are just staying tonight at a hotel close to the airport so we can head out of the city in the morning. We probably could have just driven straight to our house in Amboise since we all slept on our redeye flight, but we will have to wait until morning to get on the road. If we get up and out early enough, we are thinking about stopping at Notre Dame before we head to Chartres. We’ll have more to write about tomorrow. Bon soir!
