Today, we arrived in Santorini, Greece. It’s a huge volcanic crater that is just sticking straight up out of the sea. To get to the top and to the town of Thira, you have three options:
1 - Walk straight up the cliff
2 - Ride a donkey
3 - Take a scary funicular
Everyone except me wanted to ride up the cable car. I would have rather walked, but was outvoted.
We survived the trip and the view from the top was pretty spectacular.
We walked around a lot, but there wasn’t a lot to do besides shop for jewelry and souvenirs, so we found a cafe and had a snack while we enjoyed the view.
Santorini was cool, but we liked Mykonos more. We’re heading to Olympia tomorrow and can’t wait!
